The shelters are filled with dogs who have been abandoned for one reason or another. Some have been given away because their owners no longer have time for their pets, or because they are moving to a new apartment or home that doesn't allow animals. Some pets have been left on the streets and are expected to fend for themselves.

Animals add dimension to our lives and many many people find it difficult to live without them. Pets are loyal, forgiving, devoted and dedicated in their jobs as companions.
