Changing people’s attitudes towards spaying and neutering of dogs and cats is one of the main aims of the New Rochelle Humane Society. It seeks to achieve this goal by telling people about the problem of over population and how it can be tackled, and by providing low cost certificates which cost half the price of spaying and neutering of your pet.

Try as we may, many animals are given away, or sold without thought for the future. These unaltered animals swell the numbers of unwanted dogs and cats, and those of their offspring that survive add to the problem the next year.

The latest medical findings indicate that your pet, male or female will be healthier and live a longer life if it is spayed or neutered.
