INTRODUCING...
    PILLSBURY 

Hi!  My name is Pillsbury and I am a neutered male Pekingese who has somehow landed up here at this shelter. The folks here gave me a rather unusual name for a dog, but when you meet me you may be able to figure out exactly why. I am a cute...no... I mean really cute, little fellow who could easily pass for the Pillsbury Dough Boy. You know what I mean...a little on the chubby side, white, squeezable, and, basically, a you-can't-help-but-like-me kind of dog. I love to sleep on my back, and, people have caught me snoring a little, perhaps because I was in such a deep sleep. The staff at the shelter seem to think that I have earned the status of senior citizen...and they are guessing my age to be around 10 years old. Personally, I don't keep track of the years as they pass, so I am absolutely of no help to them in this area. I have noticed that I am not able to see as well as I used to, not quite in need of a white cane just yet, but this doesn't stop me from getting around as well as dogs who have 20/20 vision. I love my long walks, and cuddling and snuggling, and I don't think my vision really hinders me as much as one might expect. If you would like a little Dough Boy of your own, why not have the real McCoy...me... Pillsbury...the best!
