Hi!  My name is Nikki and I am an adult spayed female Chihuahua who has been passed from family to family and  now looking for my real forever home. I hasn't been easy trying to adjust to the lifestyles in the various homes I have been in and I think the folks who were taking care of me didn't realize just how difficult it was for me to be in that situation. Every home was different and my owners all expected me to know what they were thinking and to know what I was supposed to do. I am not, by any means, a mind reader and by the time I had figured out what their expectations were, lo and behold, I was on to the next home. A tough position for a little girl like me to be in. I learned to be a watch dog, small as I am, and to not trust every soul I meet. I am not sure of strangers when I am first introduced to them, and I guess I tend to be a little on the strong side...some people might think I am aggressive. But...let me sniff you out and get to know you and I will be your inseparable friend for life. I get along well with other dogs and cats, so a four-legged companion is not out of the question. Want a little "mighty dog" for company? Then I am your best bet.
