    Hi there ............
                              Miley

Hi!  My name is Miley and I am a 5 month old (as of April 5th) spayed female Shepherd mix puppy who was found by one of the shelter's staff members. I had been abandoned by my owners and was just left on my own to survive. Needless to say, it took me some time to adjust to living at this shelter, but I am gradually getting accustomed to this way of living and I am a little more relaxed and happy here. At first, I just sat on the sidelines and watched all the other dogs playing and having a good time. Day by day, I learned how to trust, and, boy oh boy, do I ever have a great time now playing with my newly acquired canine friends! Trust is a strange thing...once you lose faith in mankind, it takes some time to learn that all people are not unkind and really, most folks, especially animal lovers, have hearts of gold and can be depended on to pull through when you need them.  Although I am destined to be a dog on the larger side, I am a real gentle giantess, if there is such a word in the English language. Wouldn't you come and meet me and let me show you that my  loyalty is a forever thing. I will always be there at the door to greet you when you come home from work.

Miley, a five month old Shepherd Mix pup, was found by one of our staff members after having been abandoned in her neighborhood. It took Miley some time to adjust to shelter life. Her first several days at the shelter were spent sitting on the sidelines observing the other dogs at play while the staff busily worked around her. With each day, Miley began to feel more and more comfortable with her surroundings, and now she is eagerly playing with the other dogs and making new people friends daily! This gentle girl is ready for a new home...could that home be yours?
