An easy going, happy-to-meet-you
companion.

Are you my special someone?

    Say Hi to ............
                              Faith

Hi!  My name is Faith and I am an adult (9 years old) spayed female Beagle and I am hoping someone will fall in love with me soon and adopt me. I was recently brought to this shelter because my family moved to a condo where my breed was not welcome. It isn't funny when people discriminate in this way, because things that certain breeds are supposed to do, sometimes never happen. In fact, these behaviors very seldom do happen. Beagles have a reputation of barking and howling. That is because they are classified as  hounds and this is typical of a hound's behavior. My owners couldn't convince the condo management that this wasn't so in my case. I am a very quiet, reserved lady who just loves to sit around and keep my owners company. I love to chase balls when they are thrown for me, and I must say I retrieve them pretty well, too.As a matter of fact, the volunteers here have decided that I am going to be a visitor at the nursing homes and I hope to make many seniors happy. I enjoy being with people, and people seem to have positive things to say about me when I am with them. I am a very well behaved lady and I am sure you will quickly see that when I meet you.  Please visit me soon and take me home with you.
