Hi! My name is Danni and I am a young spayed female Terrier  and something else mix and I have surprised everyone at NRHS with my intelligence. I arrived at the shelter knowing very few obedience commands. Now I am learning exactly what the humans at this place want me to do, and boy, do I ever learn quickly! Believe me, I am no dummy when it comes to brains. I may even earn a scholarship to a doggie college if I keep it up! Maybe...just maybe... I will  be awarded the distinction of being the "First Female Doggie President" of the U.S.A.!  I know how to sit, lie down, shake hands as well as some other interesting commands. Why not visit me and see if you can teach me one of your own? You will be amazed at what a "whiz kid" I really am, and fun to be with too. Ask for Danny, the clever dog, and they will direct you right to my kennel.  Oh...and one more thing... Look at the "star" on my chest. It is one of the most unusual markings of any dog I have ever seen. You'll never find another dog who looks exactly like me!
