Hi!  My name is Bailey and I am a one-year-old neutered male Pug/Yorkshire Terrier mix who is as precocious and cute as can be. If you look at my build, I have the body of a Pug but the texture of my fur is like a Yorkie.  I know that some people like to make a new name out of mixed breeds, and I am just glad that the folks here don't do that with my mixture. People would sure laugh at me if I was given a breed name of "Porkie".  Can you guess how I thought that one up?  I have been told that I am outgoing and have an "upbeat" disposition. I guess I am just a cheerful, happy-go-lucky kind of dog. I love to play with other dogs, so I think you could say that I get along well with my canine counterparts. I also love being with people...Just call me super friendly. I will only be placed in a home with children who are at least 12 years old. I am on the small side so maybe they think that little kids would tease me and maybe even hurt me.  If you are looking for a Romeo, a personable young man, to accompany you on walks around the neighborhood, then Bailey is the one to ask for when you visit the shelter. Just tell them that Bailey sent you.
